PSPFanboy has just made available the demo for the PSP RPG Dungeon Explorer. This is a great chance to test out the game. If you have never downloaded a demo for the PSP, it is very easy and they walk you through the process. The game did not get great reviews, but there is still a fun game to be had. If you are on the fence about picking it up now is your chance to try it out.

Great new for Final Fantasy fans in the PAL territories, Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core will have additional game play content and also be released as a special edition. The special edition will come with a hard-backed art book and a slip case that holds the book and the game. This seems like a pretty nice package and the press release states that it will be available at selected retailers. So if you are interested I would start looking now.

PSPFanboy just released a review of the new PSP game Wild ARMs Crossfire for the PSP. The review is very thorough and touches on many of the game elements. They mention that the battles are generally hard and that the objectives are varied quite a bit for each level. The review also talks about the different character classes and how you use them during battle. Apparently you will be changing characters quite often in order to meet the the level’s objectives. To get ready for the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, here are some new screens and two wallpapers. The reviews for the game have been very positive so far with a Metacritic score of 89 which makes it the number two highest ranked PSP game on the site right behind God of War: Chains of Olympus. The game’s release date is March 25th and pre-orders have already started.

A new video has been posted for the upcoming PSP game Final Fantasy: Crisis Core showing a battle between Genesis and Sephiroth The quality of this video is amazing. It looks as good as the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and should look great on the PSP’s high quality screen. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game. A new video has been released of the upcoming PSP RPG Wild ARMs: Crossfire. I am surprised about how great the gameplay portion of the trailer looks. They show many different environments including cottages, mountains, ruins and swamps that all look detailed with many levels for strategy. The video also shows many of the 20 different job classes in the game. I am pretty excited about this game and it will definitely be one I will be picking up on March 11. Some new screens have been posted for the upcoming PSP RPG Final Fantasy: Crisis Core. The screens were posted by FinalFantasy.net and show new gameplay images, menu screens and enemies. The game is being released on March 25 in North America. We’ll keep you posted on any new details we find.

New screens shots have been released for Tales of Rebirth for the PSP. This is a remake of an 2004 game for the PS2 and is to be released in Japan in March. Hopefully this game will get released in the states as well because it would be great to have a proper tales game for the PSP. The PSP version of the game is said to have all the elements of the original game including detailed 2D sprites, skits and cooking. Tales of Rebirth is looking to be another great RPG for the PSP. New videos have been released for Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. The videos show gameplay footage from the upcoming PSP game. From the videos the battle system looks very fluid with fast action from you and the enemies. I would have liked it though if the battles did not start with the enemies appearing out of mid air. I was hoping that they would have moved past this convention, but there are no loading screens for the start of the battles which makes this much more acceptable. The graphics of course look great and the videos show dreary dungeon and lush forest environments. The game is released on March 25, 2008 in the states and is definitely one I am going to be picking up. Watch the full post to view the new videos.
